As you can see I have my dual screen setup, coffee mug and the works. This is where I spend a vast majority of my waking hours. I am a web/research assistant for a global health non-profit I spent a lot of my time in new media and communications.

I work at a gym, and there are signs that specifically say I'm not allowed to take pictures. I'm not sure why.

I work at a TV station which involves a handful of workspaces but I spend a lot of time on the assignment desk which looks like this...

It's a disaster, the antithesis of my "workstation" at home. I've leaned that any attempt to clean and organize is futile. Pictures of the rest of the station/studio can be seen here.

That's the best pic of it I could find - it's kid of like a mobile office

Other than that I'll be in my living room to do online stuff. I don't have a desk set up in the new place, just a comfy chair and my laptop.

Being back in school for my second BA degree, I don't have an office. But since I'm headed for a career teaching High School, I'm hoping for a nice seperate office sepearate from my classroom complete with a fish tank, a couple of terrariums, a recliner and a mini fridge, a nice storage for all the shit I'd acculumate over the years, and a good view from the classroom. I got those ideas from some of my old teachers

I like the setup, Flux, especially of how you did the TV/XBox.

Also the Giants stuff is also very rad.

I'm not sure if I am allowed to post a pic of my office, though it is just a bunch of people around computers or running around.

Your dream office sounds wonderful. My one miserable year of teaching high school, I was a part-time "floater," w/ neither office nor classroom of my own.

^my old field was truly humilating for me. Besides several people I know who went into teaching seem to start off as a sub teacher or a teacher assistant job. So It appears to the norm so I kinda expect that kind of thing at first.

Wow! I teach at a university and I don't even have an office like that. I share an office with another teacher (thankfully, we're friends and get along well.) Last year, as a TA, I shared an office with at least six other people. It was very small and had no windows.

Dream big, though, Finn! I hope you get your dream office one day... can I come share it with you?
