TREK's scruge!!!

Of all the STAR TREK characters, which one do you think would have benefitted the most from a visit from the Ghost of the past, and future? Who best could have learned the lesson Scruge learned?

Quark or Q, but I doubt Q would entertain the situation for very long before he turned them into a cloud of fart gas.

Nah, Quark was never really that bad to begin with.

You mean, someone who really should have been made to confront his past and his actions in the present and realize that his way of doing things was wrong and that things will end horribly wrong if he continues like that? Dukat. Or Enabran Tain, if you want someone closer to Scrooge's age and as emotionally closed as he was. Heck, I think there were probably lots of people in the Cardassian Union who needed a few ghosts of past, present and future to pester them... might have prevented some things... if it worked.

Kruge or Scrooge... I think we already saw A Christmas Carol in a few TNG episodes such as "Tapestry" and "All Good Things".

As for Jellico, he was just what the Big E needed. Someone to get their asses in gear and remind them that StarFleet is still a military(ish) outfit. To me, Jellico will always be my hero for getting Troi out of her loungewear and into a proper uniform!!

What is "scruge," some kind of Klingon "Scrooge?"

Wow..I didn't think anyone would get that. Yep..extra points for you Mr. Menace! Very good!!!

Rob

You didn't think anyone would get what? I'm confused, did you badly badly badly misspell that word or is it actually some kind of Klingon and it was intentional?

Because if you're saying that you didn't think anyone would notice that you spelled "Scrooge" wrong then that's really quite offensive.

I think it's a play on Kruge

I thought thats what he meant...yes its a play of Kruge...sorry if i offended anyone..

In that case, how about "E'B'NeZr" Kruge himself? He's greedy, mean to his lover and underlings (to the point of executing gunmen for clumsiness), cares only for his pet and not other animal... he probably had a few things go wrong in his childhood. Maybe a visit from the Warriors of Sto-Vo-Kor might have made the events of Star Trek III very different.

"You! Boy! What day is this?!"
"My Lord, it is K'Hrs'maS Morning!"
"Perfect! This is the stroke of luck I've been waiting for! There's a big, fat Genesis Torpedo in the Federation starship wreckage at the end of the sector. Take it and deliver it to Torg Khra'C't's house!"
"My Lord! Are you alright?"
"GET OUT! GET OUT OF THERE! GET OUT before I shoot your animal of a gunner you call your father!"

Riker could use some Ghost of the past, and maybe he wouldnt have ended it with troy(because he wanted to advance his career) just to sit as number one for seven years with deanna on board.
