favourite breakfast

This morning it was a 2 swigs of Jack and a smoke.

Rough night last night, glad someone had the good sense to invent Sundays

I love sausage biscuits with strawberry jam and a Coca-Cola to drink. A side of hash browns makes it perfect.

It also makes it more likely to kill me by the age of 45 if I consume that meal for breakfast too often. I find it so delicious that it just might be worth it, though.

Bacon, fried eggs (with the yolk hardened and the bottom crispy and brown), Marmite on toast, plate of Corn Flakes, some strong coffee with a dash of rum and a big fat joint.

Marmite is great stuff. I heard smoking is bad for your health.

Huevos rancheros - love 'em, love 'em love 'em. Actually I love 'em for lunch or dinner, too.

A shitload of bacon, 2-3 eggs over-easy, hashbrowns, sourdough toast with butter and red pepper jelly, and sriracha, the world's BEST hot sauce.

Is there no one else who likes oatmeal for breakfast? You lot don't know what you're missing.
I like it alright, it just isn't exactly a favorite. Certainly sticks to your ribs, though, especially on a cold day.

bacon (back, not that useless streaky stuff)
Watch your mouth.

To make sure I don't accidentally eat some streaky "bacon" masquerading as meat?

Good advice.

I had a hell of a good burrito for brunch today while waiting for my car to be done. A little expensive at $7.50, but very delicious.

Where can I find this treat, fellow Phoenician?

I love sriracha, i thought i was the only one. I'm not alone anymore :techman:

Well, there are apparently at least three of us. I can find a way to make sriracha taste good on just about anything that's not meant to be eaten for dessert.

Make that four, although I'm a little more particular about what I use mine in. Chinese, Japanese, and Mexican dishes, mostly.

I'm not a morning person, so rarely do breakfast.

If I'm working, I want to catch every last second in bed before having to get up and race into work. In that case, I might get a latte and a pastry of some sort for elevenses but certainly not everyday. If I'm not working I will lie in long enough for the next meal to be brunch at most, but usually I'll just have a slightly early proper lunch instead.

So the only times I have breakfast at breakfast-time would be if I'm on holiday and someone else is cooking.

In that situation, my ideal breakfast would be a full English. Start off with some orange juice to freshen up and then maybe a little cereal or porridge while waiting for the cooked food to arrive. Sausages, (back) bacon, eggs (either scrambled or fried), good black pudding, beans, mushrooms and plenty of toast with butter & honey or marmalade, and hot sweet tea. Superb.

If I'm feeling "healthier" on holiday, maybe Eggs Benedict instead. Hey, "healthier" is a relative term. :)

Once in a while I'll fancy something weird, like devilled kidneys or kippers or kedgeree or something.
