Love Nathan Fillion! Glad to see he's got a show that's lasted past the first handful of episodes. His delivery of the line "I like it" was very Mal of him.

And then the daughter replies:

Actually that scene pretty well encompasses the entire debate, doesn't it?

And because I like mysteries.
I started watching because of Nathan. I've stuck with it because it's fun. I like Castle & Beckett's banter. I like Castle's family life. The mysteries are only sometimes predictibly cliched. 
And I think Nathan and the producers are being smart in throwing in little easter eggs for Nathan's fans to enjoy. I know I've watched episodes more than once looking for references. It's both a non-obnoxious way to draw in viewers, and a sweet thank-you to the fans for their support.
Overall, the show just makes me happy.

Either way, I still wouldn't watch it without a DVR. I can't commit to TV schedules.

This show is gorram fantastic! I love it! I am soooooo buying this on DVD.
And Alexis is probably the best "child" actress I've ever seen on TV that isn't either super-snarky, super annoying or just lame. She's witty, smart, has real emotions that don't seem forced. I mean... she's perfect! This whole gorram show is perfect!

Agreed. As for the show, I really want to like it, but it's just a little TOO fluffy and cute for my taste.
Plus, with the exception of House, I'm pretty much sick of procedurals by now.
