Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

McCOY:"Don't sit me next to the 'shippers...PLEASE.

Last time that happened, my ass couldn't feel anything for a week."

Lord have mercy... I would hate to know what he would really think of us if he read this entire thread. He probably wouldn't leave the house again. :rommie:

And just to reiterate what I said several pages back, we are harmless. I swear it... well maybe not da bunny. I heard she bites.

If either Karl OR Faran Tahir ever came in these forums?

They'd never speak to another STAR TREK fan again.

Dude, Faran Tahir DID come to the forum. A looong time ago. He posted in the Robau thread.....IIRC he posted two posts and then not that long afterwards those posts disappeared, I am guessing once he saw what the Robau thread was he asked to have his membership "discreetly disappeared".

His posts were 'thank yous' to we fans.

And when he saw what we typed about him...he freaked out and decided we will NEVER, EVER be anywhere near as badass as he is. So he disavowed any knowledge of or association with us.

The patented and powerful Robau pwn.

New Karl video!

This is an interview from the Spike TV Scream Awards, which I guess were held last night (and will be on Spike 10/27). Karl looks and sounds fantastic in the interview. His hair seems a little darker and shaggier, which makes me happy because that means he probably won't be bald in Priest (which he talks a little about). Definitely worth a view, fellow Urbanites!

Doesn't he sound (and look) devastatingly sexy there? I know you're an accent connoisseur, so I figured you'd appreciate that. ;)

Based on the movies I've seen him in, Karl could probably fake just about any accent so long as it looked like it was coming from the voicebox of a white guy.:p

When was the last time he used his actual voice/accent in a movie (not counting the movies yet released)?

Probably Out of the Blue in 2006 since that's set in New Zealand. I haven't actually watched it yet though (I have the DVD), so I can't swear to it.

I heard of that movie but have never seen it. When I heard Karl was in TREK I looked up some of his stuff on imdb.

Like Eddie I've only heard of the movie. I've only seen 5 movies that Karl has been in: 2 LOTRs, Doom, Chronicles of Riddick, and ST - and the first four after seeing ST. Never heard of Karl before then.
