Aragorn...lets not too crazy although that would be an interesting plot for a sequel! The Enterprise crew comes across a planet full of zombies!

It was pretty entertaining. A little thin on plot, slightly contrived (especially how the main cast of characters comes into contact with one another -- I was expecting a bit more cleverness) but overall a fantastic character piece with some great set pieces and genuinely funny moments (mostly derived from the characters, which makes them so funny).

I can't believe that in the whole of the devestated United States laying in ruin that Tallahassee couldn't find cases upon cases of Twinkies. You'd think he could walk into any grocery store and find boxes of them.

Maybe zombies crave Twinkies as much as they do human flesh? It was funny that the Hostess truck they ran into contained nothing but (un boxed) Snowballs (my personal favorite Hostess treat) "It's the coconut, it's nothing against it per-se it's just the texture of it."

Loved the Zombie-kill with the banjo, the pop-ups of all the graphics,, and I don't know why but Tallahassee and Little Rock arguning in the car about Hannah Montana got a big laugh out of me, and the audience.

This was just a great little movie.

And I could just eat Emma Stone.

I wonder what's left to explore or comment on in the zombie lexicon. We established the "rules", so what's next? Anyway, I'd enjoy a sequel. Apparently this was first developed as a TV series so according to the writers a sequel is almost pre-written.

Ooh, tantalizing. I've always wanted a zombie TV show, preferrably on one of the more hardcore channels so they wouldn't be compelled to tone down the violence and suffering for the sensibilities of the typical prime-time audience. A series gives it such time to explore the world going to hell and the post-apocalyptic wasteland that succeeds it, across a breadth of locations and characters... but then, like I said, I can watch this stuff all day long. While what I had in mind was less comedic and more Romero, I would just at the opportunity of a Zombieland TV show.

The comic book series The Walking Dead is being converted into a television series for AMC.

I assume that a sequel will continue to explore the relationship between Columbus and Wichita, there are still the rest of the three's real names to learn. I think Columbus said that no one knew the cause of the zombie virus so there's that too. I enjoyed Emma Stone as well, I much prefer her with darker hair than red hair.

I'm not familiar with AMC. How do they rate in the way of content-restriction?

Her natural hair color is blond believe it or not. I read that because I was trying to look up what else she had been in, because I knew I had seen her in something before. She was the chick Fatty was trying to get with in Superbad. Which is funny because the Columbus character was clearly written with Micheal Cera in mind it seem to me.

Breaking Bad and Mad Men are two of the most award-winning and critically acclaimed shows on right now. They pretty much do everything up to showing actual nipple. Because meth-related gang killings done in your underwear is ok, but if we see a pair of boobies the children who aren't watching the show might become serial killers.

Did somebody say boobies? Well, there goes my sense of a moral code. :p

And you should see Fido, Thrall. It's well worth your while.

I think I will since you recommend it.

He said it briefly. Mad Cow disease that had mutated into Mad People disease. But that could have been a joke.

Was it just me or did these Zombies seem to die easier than in other zombie movies.

A baseball whack to the head just wouldn't kill a zombie in other movies. The disease they caught made them behave like cannibals that could not feel pain. But it seemed you could kill them like a regular human. The double tap rule just made sure.

It was a joke/speculation on his part about the "Mad People Disease." Since a human-form of BSE exsists in CJD.

No "real" explanation was ever given.

Just saw the movie yesterday, and he does say that it all started when a certain patient zero first bit into an infected burger.

I thought that they were doing that because these are supposed to be closer to the Rage infected than anything else.
