I've been pretty luke-warm about Matt Smith; he didn't fit the kind of Who I want in the photos I had been seeing. These new photos make me feel better about him; I'm more looking forward to seeing it now.

Of course, Amy's outfit doesn't hurt either.

I think I was sold with the early shot of him in rolled up pantlegs and ratty boots. So far I'm imagining a Troughton/Davison 'slightly bewildered, but still game' sort of Doctor. Hope I'm right.

I just hope we've gotten past the 'fall in love with your companion' phase.

The fact that Amy is apparently in a costume for a hen party (overheard by one of the set reporters) doesn't mean that she isn't a police constable! Although any force would take a dim view of one of its constables using parts of their real uniform for a party outfit, there's nothing to stop said constable hiring such an outfit! Might be a good in-joke if Amy really is a constable, especially if she's a detective who normally wears plain clothes (though she might be a bit young).

Alternatively, she might indeed be a strippergram - though that would be an interesting choice of occupation for a companion!

Sorry to rain on your parade Zomdue (love the Halloween name btw) but 10 hasn't been wearing that tie all along. He might have worn it in The Next Doctor, not sure though.

And no, I can't beleive I was nerdy enough to research 10's choice of ties either...before anyone asks!
