Passing Of The Trainers (Mild Spoilers)

Given that he's clutching his script, they are probably his own. Somehow I don't think Ten is going to regenerate with his glasses on.

ah, well I can reveal that he will. apparently 10 will put his glasses on moments before regenerating in order to read a sign.

"What's it say, Doctor?"

"Warning, trip hazard, beware of bricks...ow!"

I'd love a mundane death - how great would that be? After restoring Gallifrey, fighting off a combined Dalek-Cyberman-Sontaran army led by the Master and the Rani, and defending Earth from total destruction, he's walking back to the Tardis and trips down the stairs breaking his back.

(By the way, I've never quite worked it out. Are you the same as GB's Starkers?)

did we ever confirm those rumours about her in a nurses outfit, really this is what Doctor Who should be about, the Doctor taking Amy to differnt places each week, and him having the right uniform for it in the wardrobe

Amy: youve bought me to a airport Doctor?
Doctor: yep, theres a trolley dolleys outfit in the wardrobe, be a dear and go change
Amy: why Doctor?
Doctor: its the rules, I cant change them, ask the Shadow Proclamation
Amy: there seems to be alot of rules about female time travellers wearing sexy outfits.
Doctor: do you wish to get on the wrong side of a Judoon
Amy: no Doctor, I guess your right

*goes off to change outfit*

And of course the Doctor did get both Rose and Martha to dress up as maids.

The Master did the same with Martha's mum and sister. Fortunately, not her dad.

No ofense meant but, As an American I keep thinking that trainers are rubber pants for kids that have not been toilet trained yet.

His shoes are what we call sneakers. They look like a pair of Converse Chuck Taylors to me.

Redhead in WPC outfit...I love Steven Moffat :D

Don't forget, he wrote Coupling....so she was going to show up in a uniform sooner or later:).

Of course, that's still one of my favourite bits...

"This carwash is now under police control...and nurse control!"

I think I might have to go home and re-watch that episode later...

Yeah, although I like the bits where Kate Issitt goes all Medieval, and the happy dancing elves song which is a hoot. The show shouldn't have gone downhill after Jeff left, they just shouldn't have made Oliver such a carbon copy of him in so many ways.

Mmmm...Sarah Alexander, Gina Bellman, and Kate Issitt in uniform...

Damnit! I don't have my Coupling DVDs here! They're halfway across the globe! :scream: :(

It did get better once Oliver started getting his own personality, and became a bit of a foil for Jane.

Yeah, he got better but he was really annoying at first. The bit where he goes on a date without realising he's wearing his bring back Dr Who jumper is very funny though.

Little update on this shooting. They've turned the Welsh village of Llandaff into a fictional Scotish village called Leadworth and have put up a bunch of signs that peg the scenes as being set in the mid-1990s.

Which would tie in with the rumour that Amy first meets the Doctor when she's a child and then again as an adult.
