Great logo work, sir!

You sir, are a sharp son of a gun! One day, I hope I can get on your level, I gotta step my dressy-attire game up!

Whoa...

Forreals, if I was a teen in the 70's, you woulda been mine
Let's see what you looked like at 16.

I can't find any photos of myself when I was 16 on file, but the earliest I have in my teens was when I was 18 or freshly 19:

Since we are posting HS photos, here's me from the prom. And yes, this was taken this decade.

^I like the background. Here's one of mine from this May. I liked this one better than the professional one, honestly.

Why can't I meet a girl like you!

They lost a lot of pilots at Yavin IV.

Ok, that was a good one.

*bows*

Oh, and Holdfast, I always think you'd make a great Bond Villain based off of your pics.

As long as it's not Nick-Nack, sure. :D

You do street miles better than I could ever hope to, so it all evens out.

^Cute indeed. Looks like some sort of wrestling...porn? Madbaggins would probably get a kick out of that.

Here's a pic from our recent family vacation to Canada. The lodge we stay at has a themed cocktail party every year, this year was 50's theme. Turns out that plaid shirt has come in handy for me more than once...:D

This made my day!

Metro is one of NYC's standard substandard free rags -- not a humor mag or anything, which I occasionally get for the admittedly none-too-challenging crossword puzzles (though they do stump me with a clue or two every once in a while). This answer was completely unexpected, and really made me laugh -- the strongest curse that ever comes up in this puzzle is "egads!"

Apparently I shouldn't lie to people in the near future because they'll notice. :vulcan:

That's all kinds of awesome! I love crosswords. I'm always helping my reps when they do the crossword in the Toronto version of the Metro, but I didn't have a chance to assist them this week. Wonder if ours was the same.

I should add I had no idea the gerund form of bullocks before. Learn something new every day.

As with a number of words which tend to turn up in crosswords, "all bollixed up" was an expression more commonly in use by my parents' generation (growing up during the Depression & WWII) and as curses go, it wasn't a very strong one -- mild enough, in fact, that my mother never had trouble using it when I was growing up. I think it may even have been part of a recurring exclamation by a popular comic strip character of the time, but I'd have to check on that.
