Me on the U.S.S. Hornet in Alameda, CA

Isn't that where the nuclear wessels are?

^^^ Holdfast, your pics always make me feel like I'm going to have an allergy attack just by looking at them! Beautiful though. You look skinny, too! Have you lost weight recently?

^ Hey, there are several avec-tete shots in today's batch! :p

Not recently. Must be photo angle.

My last bout of weight loss was about 18-24 months, and I've been stable since then. Things did "rearrange themselves" about 6-12 months ago when I noticed that despite my overall weight remaining the same, I lost a bit more around my chest/waist and it moved elsewhere on my boy. Haven't been doing any exercise for ages, so I guess that explains some of that. Had to get almost all my jackets retailored to compensate! :borg:

I hope that wasn't a Freudian Slip! :eek::eek:

Nice catch. Sorry to disappoint, but just a typo!

But it's so nonchalent! :p

My posture gets worse and worse. I think it's because I get wiser and wiser, which means my brain places more weight on my spine... ;)

Or perhaps even nonchalant. :p

Pig!

And I mean that in a good way. :p

I just uploaded, resized and color corrected my pictures from my Portfolio Show. I now officially have my Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. :techman:

Damn Flux, you are a sharp dressed man. No matter how hard I try, I always looked kinda ruffled and frumpy.

I can't believe I finally dug these up.

Halloween, 1977 - see why all the geek boys wanted me when I was 16? Oh yeah.

Note the costume details! I made that thing myself, without any help from publicity stills ... no internet back then, you know. I made drawings and took notes in a movie theatre. This was in the dark ages before VCRs and DVDs. Plus the movie was still in the theaters at that point anyway.

Looks great man. And you look even better. ;)

I have to agree. On both counts.

And no, I promise, I'm not a dirty old man.

I'm not that old *rimshot*. :shifty:

And he's the straight one in the bunch. :p

Speaking of which ....

I can't believe I finally dug these up.

Those are WAY cool!!! If I'd met you back then, dressed like that, who knows ... I might have ended up straight! :guffaw:

Congratulations!

You look very sharp in the first pic. Very sharp.

Great fit on the waistcoat, shirt and trousers and a very striking colour combo - one can tell you're a graphic designer! Modern, clean & dynamic and the neatly rolled-up shirt sleeves echoes those themes nicely.

My one suggestion is that the tie knot isn't quite sharp or loose enough. What I mean is that you could either loosen it very fractionally and undo the top button to echo the casual sleeves; or tighten/shape your tie knot a fraction more to create a more v-shaped knot and echo the other sharp lines in the look. It's neither one nor the other right now.

This is nitpicking to the nth degree, but since you really look put-together and coherent in all other respects in that look, you get the full blast of nitpicky neuroticism from me. Consider it a high compliment! ;)

Again, congratulations!

I can't believe I finally dug these up.

I think I speak for the board when I say we're grateful you did. :D

Nice work!

He only wears a Freudian slip under his evening wear.
