Losing his virginity maybe? In the film, the kid Kirk passes on the road is "Johnny". In the film no mention is ever made of George Samuel Kirk, Jr. Perhaps he does not even exist.

Okay what about the novelization? I really would just prefer the character not exist.

For Kirk to have an older brother it somewhat cheapens the moment between Kirk's father and mother. I don't know why, but it does.

I remember the thread where some poor guy claimed to analyze the clip for hours on end, yet mistakenly kept hearing "Siberious". It was hilarious, but I also felt sorry for the guy.
