Change your name! It worked for me. Two years ago when I was still posting under some lame generic Name1234 alias, I had maybe 1,000 (maybe 2,000; probably somewhere in between) posts after three years, and then I changed to my current alias in January of '07 and, voila, my post count's grown to over 8,600--which still isn't a lot, but I figure 6,000-7,000 posts in two years ain't bad.
Okay, I suppose changing your name wouldn't really be necessary since you've already got a cool and unique one. But for some reason it made me a lot more interested in posting.![]()
See, the exact same thing happened to me. I guess it's because we both found something to make ourselves stand out.Change your name! It worked for me. Actually I did change my name. For the first four months of this board I was known as Sheliak and I was barely noticed. Then I changed my name to Miss Chicken and people recognised me more.
Once I changed my avatar to a version of the current one I became even more noticeable.
Please don't become a spammer! There are far too many of them on this board ...
Yeah, I was probably thinking of the former. Sorry! There has been one other Sheliak and also a Sheliak5 but both of these poster joined a long time after me.
