My Son's pet chicken Daphne died today.

I will miss that little pecker. She was funny. Only 2 months old- we don't know what happened, it was so sudden.
She is survived by her sister chicken Sammy, me, my Wife & previously mentioned Son.

Losing pets sucks.

He's 10.
Daphne (as her "sister" Sammy still is) was a really weird chicken, all happy to be touched & held, would sit on you for long periods cooing & stuff. Just had to keep a tissue handy for the inevitable poop.
Little sentient beings... gotta luv 'em.
