After enjoying COUNTDOWN as much as I did, I'm gonna have to check this out!I wonder how much the new Nero comics will refer back to COUNTDOWN, if at all.
It is the same team, according to TrekMovie. After enjoying COUNTDOWN as much as I did, I'm gonna have to check this out!I wonder how much the new Nero comics will refer back to COUNTDOWN, if at all.
Well, I believe the same team that wrote Countdown will be writing this as well so perhaps there will be references.
As I recall, the individual issues of the Countdown comic tended to be available mostly at comic shops, though I think there were a few exceptions noted. Since those sold out pretty rapidly, it's possible that this one could be more widely available, but I'd guess it would still depend on the bookstore. If there's a trade paperback collecting the issues (don't know if one has been announced yet) I'd think that you should be able to find it at the same store where you picked up the last one.Can a comic like this be had at a regular bookstore? I got the trade paperback at one.
Yeah...I was afraid of that. We have a comics store not too far away; but when I went in there a couple weeks before the movie, he didn't have Countdown, so we went to the bookstore. I guess I'll drop in and ask again or order it online. As I recall, the individual issues of the Countdown comic tended to be available mostly at comic shops, though I think there were a few exceptions noted. You might be able to get them to set aside a copy for you; I remember several people doing that with the individual Countdown issues. Or yeah, it looks like you can pre-order the trade collection volume from Amazon in paperback or hard cover. I see there are copies of Issue #1 available, too.Yeah...I was afraid of that.
