Karl Urban -- blond or brunet?

I admit this has nothing to do with Karl - but since we've taken a quick jaunt into Firefly, I want to share this awesome picture created by ITL

^ I wasn't too happy with the finished piece, so I did the "folds and creases" thing on it for that washed out, distressed feel and it looks a lot better:

Embiggened version: CLICK!

:D

For the record, I love Firefly, hate Serenity - not just because of the required Whedon kills the nicest character aspect but also because I thought it was just... not a good movie, and nowhere near the movie Firefly deserved.

Wonderful, td! My husband is a big Firefly fan, so I just sent him the picture. He chuckled and said [obvious]"I didn't know those guys were on the Star Trek show!"[/obvious].

I switched over to IE (I usually use Firefox) and now I'm seeing it. I freakin' LOVE it!!!!!!! Thank you, CD! It's going on my computer at home, husband-viewable or not.

FYI, it doesn't show up in Safari, either. Find your IE, Jeri! Quick! It's so worth it.

It's not moving for me either.

edit: oh, I use Firefox. I don't even know where my IE is...

Sheese, nope! You're going to have to describe it, if it's not indescribable...

It's Mc Coy during the "We've got no captain and no goddamned first officer to replace him" line, and the caption is "Save a Ship- Ride a Doctor."

At the side there's a "quote" from Mc Coy, saying "Dammit, ladies- I'm a doctor, not a country song."

Oh, I'm sorry; I must have misunderstood! I can see that. I was thinking it DID something; I was hoping to see someone ride the doctor. Right.

I volunteer to take that one for the team so you're not disappointed, Jeri...

BTW, can someone explain the "I'm a doctor, not a country song" reference to me?

Well, get to it, woman!

BTW, in any of Karl's movies, are there nude love scenes? I mean nearly nude, of course.

The line save a ship, ride a doctor is a play on a country song "Save a horse, ride a cowboy" - by someone whose name I can't remember right now!
