Well?
We reach! My fave of your faves?
THE DOOOOMSDAY MACHINE!
It's just absolutely THE most purely FUN episode they ever made, IMO!I'm glad Shore Leave is on the list; what do you like about it?
That was the first episode I recall seeing as a young child that didn't fly by faster than what seemed like a half-hour. It set the stage for my appreciation of stories that took thier time, and, ultimately & probably, why TMP is my favourite Trek film to date.Immunity Syndrome? In excitement that is the anti-"Doomsday Machine."
Awaiting a clean bill of health from Dr. McCoy, I suspect.Where is "Way to Eden"?
That was actually kind of lame from Spock at the end.Spock approaches T'Pring, who is now his, and asks her why the challenge and why she chose the captain. She informs him that she wanted Sta'an, Sta'an wanted her. If Kirk were the victor he would not want her and she would have Sta'an. If Spock were the victor, he would not want her because she had dared the challenge, and again, she would have Sta'an. But if he did not free her, it would be the same. For Spock would be gone for killing his captain. She would have his name, his property, and Sta'an would still be there.
"Logical, flawlessly logical.", states Spock. Turning to his rival Spock says, "Sta'an. She is yours. After a time you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true."
My Wife actually resembles the actress who portrayed her, how cool is that??!I like that episode because of T'Pring. She was just TOO COOL!
I do not mean to offend, but that remark indicates extreme youth or age IMO. Is this correct? That was actually kind of lame from Spock at the end.

It was mine too, before the remastered eps came out, but the sheer grandur afforded The Doomsday Machine via the new FX combined with the inate drama of the peereless live action just pushed it to the forefront for me!That's why it's always been my favorite. It's just absolutely THE most purely FUN episode they ever made, IMO!I'm glad Shore Leave is on the list; what do you like about it?![]()
So far, my personal pick is agreed with- I am shocked & awed.Tough choice, but I picked The Doomsday Machine as well.

Theodore Sturgeon thught that, when produced, the episode revealed too much early on by showing antennae in the bushes, spoiling some suspense for the audience. Of course that suspense would only work the first time viewing...
