I finally got around to screengrabbing my Blue Angle flight from (jesus) 5 years ago...

Before takeoff. I was giggling like a little girl.

Takeoff. Twas pretty steep.

Performing an Immelmann Turn, you can see the contrail/ocean behind/over me.

And me looking generally retarded.

Then I threw up and landed. The end.

Dammit that looks like the BEST.EVAH trip to Disney World!!!

All I got is a 'less than 20 minutes ago' picture from an automated 'send an e-mail from here'-machine from the town here:

Here are a few from this summer that I finally got around to. These are from Artscape in Baltimore.

The main stage, just before Cake went on from our awesome seats behind the port-a-potties:

A whole parade of art cars drove by my house on Saturday. Here are a couple at the tail end that I managed to get pictures of:

Also, I attended a conference in Milan in June. I had a good view from my room:

It was mostly work, but we did get out to see the Duomo:

Did they give you a cool call sign like say "Two Bags"?

Nice pictures; I've just been reading up a bit this weekend on art & related period architecture since it's a relatively weak point of my knowledge, so forgive me if I try to test my new reading - tell me how close I get: it seems like the Duomo is largely International Gothic with some later early Renaissance decorative elements?

Some kind of weird Basilisk maybe? I see a chimaera with cocks feet, dogs body and serpent's head? That's not strictly a Basilisk, but might be an interpretation of one?

and Castle Sforza

More clearly early Renaissance I think - I see evidence of the use of classical orders in the colonnades and rounded rather than pointed arches. Though it seems some is recently restored. How did I do?

I have no idea. I didn't listen to the tour guide. I spent the whole time staring longingly at the numerous lovely cafes and thinking "I want to go to there."

Yeah, I'm mostly confused about the jaunty little flower its wearing...
