Do you have any?
This ought to be fun. We've all read e-mails and survey questions asking basic stuff about ourselves (like job, residence, hobbies, pets, favorite books, favorite drinks). That's fine, but it would be more interesting to know about your talents or special skills, most embarrassing job experience, worst dates, or anything, intriguing, surprising, or provocative about YOU that not too many people know about. This isn't like the Confessional Thread, and you don't have to share anything you're not comfortable with.
"And the miracle is this ... The more we share, the more we have." -- Guess Who?
I'll start ...
This is something I mentioned here before, but years ago, I was "propositioned" by a gay guy in the shower of the men's locker room at the gym I went to.
I said no.
Some of the things I hated about the 24 Hour Fitness Club where I was a member years ago were the dingy floors, lockers, shower areas and restrooms. It didn't help that the management often had to remove the shower curtains from the stalls.
One evening, as I stood naked in one of the stalls, just minding my own business, an Asian guy in his late 20s or early 30s stopped by and commented that I looked familiar to him and asked if we had met before. I said I didn't remember and that I also visited another 24 Hour Fitness location in another town. I was always very private and didn't really strike up a conversation with other people in the gym. He then proceeded to ask me more questions, like where I lived, whether I was by myself or with a friend, or how often I went that gym, and whether I was married or single, all of which I answered accordingly in a polite manner. I must admit I was getting impatient, and I noticed that he was looking at me "down there" the whole time. I was oblivious to his motivations.
Then finally, when I thought he was leaving, he turned to me one more time and asked, "Would you like get sucked?"
I thought I didn't hear him right, and I replied, turning off the shower, "Excuse me?!?" He repeated and said, "Would you like to get sucked?" Now back then, I wasn't quite in tune with my "gay side," so I vehemently said "No." I was very curt and direct to the point, and he just said "Okay" and left. But, boy, was I stunned! On the other hand, a part of me was flattered that he asked. I was just an average guy, after all.
