What do you do when you're really cross?

Depends on the situation, sometimes I just sit alone and mope bout it till I wake up the next morning and have forgotten about it.

I *try* talking to the person more often than not.

I usually do something really productive, like burst into tears and stomp out of the room. :vulcan:

More often than not, I just sit there and simmer, getting more and more angry.

I get really annoyed, offended or upset, usually due to hurt feelings, but I haven't been ULTRA pissed off in a long time. You don't want to see that. THEN, I go for the throat and verbally rip people to shreds. But that's not a good thing, so most of the time, I leave the room before that happens.

This is very much me. Except I have a bad temper and get upset easily, so I really have to watch myself. Like you, I often leave the room if I don't think I can really control what I'm going to say.

Occasionally I do feel like stomping out of the room in tears. :p

usally when i get cross I just take a deep breath then say 'f*** it' before going for a long walk.
certainly wouldnt dare take it out on my partner, she throws a pretty heafty left hook:)

I very rarely lose my temper ~ I'm British, it's just not done.
Yeah, it's just not cricket. A nice cup of tea and a sit down is all that's needed.

Cricket makes me angry too :scream: And I wish I had gone for the tea my head is thumping so much from the wine last night that this morning but I've forgotten what I was cross about :)

This is generally how I end up dealing with anger. I would love to just unleash and shout and scream and kick and stab and... But I know that this will just cause more trouble than it's worth. So I work it through in my head, come to the conclusion that nothing's going to change anyway and go poke my nose into someone else's argument on the internet (you can tell when I'm stressed, I'll be posting on here in whatever the "BBS issue of the day" thread is :p)

Oh and mums are mums - always will be. You could be the dictator of several small countries and feared throughout the land and you still wouldn't be able to speak your mind to your mum.

The posting here definately helped, and I apologise for my dreadful language

:lol:But then I make everyone, including myself, laugh. Well I s'pose it diffuses the situation:vulcan:

I go kill things on my Xbox/PS3/PC.

That would have been a good plan but the only game I'm good at is Theme Park World ~ I could always make all the kids sick with sugary drinks and dirty toilets... cunning plan:bolian:

British? don't get angry? PLEASE!

What a crock.

We certainly do not ~ we have on occasion been known to hang our bowler hats on the hatstand with unnecessary force but that's about it. :p

I think Christian Bale has pretty thoroughly disproven this rumour :p

I tend only to get really angry fleetingly, usually an outburst of extreme rage and then I take control of myself.

I don't tend to dwell on things for too long either, if it's something I can fix I fix it, if not, there's little point dwelling on it.

If I am irritable, a smoke or drink usually does the trick :D

If I get angry I'll usually hide it until I get home. I have a punch bag that I pummel mercilessly.

Isn't he Welsh, though? ;)

Ah and we all know about the Welsh :vulcan:
Pingfah he's just the odd one out ~ and I love you Av, it creeps me out but in a good way :)

So actually nothing has really changed ~ everything remains the same... (what song? please)

Sittin' on the dock of the bay - Otis Redding.

Do I get a prize?

Yeay!!! My thumping head thanks you (having a martini and a M'lite for lunch ~ is that a bad thing ) Your prize is a martini, as you're unfortunately not here I'll have it for you :D
I had it in my head it being sung by a woman thou ~ Nina Simone kinda thing?

Could be Tina Turner, or Elisa? They've both sung it in the past, I believe.

Love Martinis, coffee ones, even better. :D

*Sits with K'ehleyr, getting pleasantly sozzled*

Hey, I know we don't like to talk about it, or admit it, but last time I checked the Welsh were still British :p

Please let's not get into that again  Ok the Welsh are British ~ let me rephrase 'Us English do not lose our temper' :p

And heh do you see me? I'm waving *secretly gurns at screen*

GTFO! you need to visit Stroud some time and see the angry people we get around here.

i get angry. my mum gets angry. with my dad and eldest sister, you can't NOT get angry.

I'd like to get angry ~ I'm just crap at it. Actually I have perfected a look, especially when I have my glasses on, which makes people aware I am not amused. See how crap is that? Other people shout and swear and rant and throw things and I glare at them over my specs ~ abso-bloody-useless:guffaw:
