You guys are making me think of that awful Lonesome Dove prequel that I had to sit through just to see Karl.

Price of Milk, guys. If it's still on Netflix's Instant Viewing, go watch it. :bolian:

    you like?

Unfortunately there aren't that many good photos from Riddick *sigh*. And I think mr trampledamage would kill himself laughing if I asked him to do screen-caps from the DVD! I shall continue looking, because that's the sort of generous girl I am.

I really must write a thank-you note to Karl - my popularity on TrekBBS has increased a thousand-fold now that there's been an actual excuse to post tons of pictures of him everywhere :techman:

^ Well if you find any more or not, we thank you for the ones you have found and posted. (And you will always be popular with me. *hug*)

I am beginning to need another Karl fix so I may just do that CD. :bolian: Either that I can hope for another dream like the other night. He was driving me somewhere and then helped me out of the car and wouldn't let me see where we had driven too. Turns out it was my favorite restaurant and he had gotten my favorite beer because they didn't serve it there. He held my hand across the table... *sigh* It was a very nice dream. My subconscious even had his accent right. I woke up feeling all warm and fuzzy.

OMG, I just imploded. That great smile, and in a suit, no less! Thank you, trampledamage. I haven't seen this photo before. You're such a good enabler.

I'm making one more Trek run (Trek trek?) tomorrow, I think, because I have a day off and it's only at one more theater in the area. I have to prepare myself for the long dry spell ahead once it leaves that theater, which it will probably do next week.

Does anyone know if movies usually come out on iTunes before the DVD is released, or do they normally hit around the same time?

A big thank you from me - a Karl thread is worthless w/o pics! Of course, my other fav poster is Crusher Discipline just to see the looped clip from Attack of the Show as the avatar...!

I'm debating as well... have a free ticket which I will use to see Harry Potter probably tomorrow night. Hmmm... decisions, decisions.

Oh to have the opportunity to see the movie again! It isn't playing anywhere here - although there is a cinema that gets movies later than everywhere else, so I'm keeping an eye on that one.

Here, have another piccie. If someone can explain to my why Chris Pine is wearing a scarf, I'd be grateful!

Crusher Disciple's avatar is awesome! And not just for us Urbanites either - it makes mr trampledamage laugh whenever he sees it too :)

KittyDuran, welcome to the TrekBBS and the thread, too. :D

(I see you are also a denizen of the Midwest. We're having a wonderful summer here in Chicagoland: not too hot, not too cold, raining regularly.)

AstroSmurf, I like your dream. I have similar ones now and then; they sure make life pleasant.

I'd like to have them every night, but whoever's in charge of those doles them out carefully; I guess they stay special that way.

Edit: td, maybe Chris is wearing a scarf, because he's the only one without a tie.

Re: Karl Urban -- blond or brunette?

Worth pointing out that the appropriate name for a dark-haired man is "brune."

Interesting - according to Chambers (UK dictionary) - both brunette and brunet refer to a woman, brunette being the British spelling and brunet being the American.

I guess Chambers doesn't hold with women discussing men's hair :p

Not according to an earlier poster, who said it was "brunet." This is an old chestnut by now. ;) I should say, according to a much earlier poster.

Yeah - dictionary.com has brunet as the male version of brunette.

I think we've all just pretty much settled on "sexy" as the word to describe Karl though :)

We're doing both. I'm going to see ST myself at noon so Mr_Whatsit can relax at home for a while, then I'm going to pick him up, we'll see HP around 4, and then go out to dinner. I'm tough. I can handle it. :klingon:

Absolutely wonderful - with the humidity low as well. But I have a feeling we're going to get a payback from Mother Nature probably in August. It does make the ballgames really nice to go to...

It's still in the first run theaters in my area - the Cincinnati area has 4 theaters and the Dayton area has 3. Not sure when the dollar theaters will get it - but by then the quality/experience goes way down.
