Enterprise on Sci-fi?

Saga

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
it looks like Enterprise has been removed from Sci-Fi (i refuse to call it syfy). looks like its been replaced with reruns of Stargate Atlantis. TNG reruns are still scheduled though. hope this is just a temporary measure

SYFY is still airing some episodes of Enterprise over the summer. (all times east coast)

08/07/2009 07:00 PM IMPULSE

They did this last years as well, took it off the air for most of the summer. I'm willing to bet by the end of September Enterprise is back on the schedule.

Last summer, when Sci Fi temporarily stopped airing Enterprise, all the Enterprise bashers came crawling out from under the woodwork calling Enterprise a failure (again) and how it couldn't even survie on a cable outlet. Once again those boobs were proven wrong.

I could have sworn it was still on Friday nights at 7pm EST.

True, it does seem to get pulled from the schedule, for several weeks at a time.

You guys in the UK get the same Sci-Fi (SyFy) channel?
Actually no. Our version of it only shows TOS and is available on subscription, satellite TV or cable. But I spend so much time reading about how ENT reruns are doing online... which episodes make the line-up for holiday marathons, so I can dig into my DVD boxset and rewatch as well. Plus I recently plugged the Friday 7pm timeslot, when I updated the notice atop the petition.

Over here, a freeview station called Virgin 1 (that company owned by Richard Branson) recently completed Season Three. Typically it was on Friday nights at 9pm and repeated on Saturday evening at 7pm. They're promising to show Season Four soon and I hope they do, because well... its just the best isn't it?

Ahem... Middleman, while I understand your viewpoint regarding folks who don't like Enterprise, there's no need to refer to them as "those boobs" in order to make your point. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, without any name-calling.

if not 'boobs' then perhaps doofus would work? ;)

I'll say again what I said last year. No show stays on forever, no matter how good or bad. People are only going to watch it over and over for so a limited number of times. I consider B5 one of the best science fiction shows ever, but when was the last time anyone saw it on SciFi? Enterprise will eventually move on from SciFi, and some time later it will show up somwhere.

^ It's popped up on Sci-Fi before.

I remember before the DVD's came out, they were running the first season, I'd never seen more than a couple of eps before that and then it was gone before the end of the first season.

I also refuse to call Sci-Fi.... it's new name. You see, you can't make me say it.

Thank you, I think we like minded people really need to stick together on this. :techman:

I wasn't referring to any specific boob, just a class of boobs in general as I'm not looking to pick on any one boob in particular; and certainly we don't have any of aforementioned boobs on this site. Actually, I'm way too much of a nice guy to call them what I really would like to call them. Boobs is kinda harmless.

Also, if calling them boobs makes me a boob, so be it. Over the years, I've been called a heck of a lot worse. :guffaw:

Oh my goodness. I hope you got it all out of your system, hon.

I'm gratified to know you were not referring to any of our fellow posters. Nevertheless, labeling any "class" with a disparaging name, however harmless to you, is still name-calling, and we don't want to see any more of it, thank you.

HR: For moments like these, this should come in handy.

That is hilarious. *saved*

I'm not usually the thread-bomb type, but I shall keep that one in reserve, just in case.

Yes Darlin' system purged.

BTW: Just to keep the record straight, when I was referring to those folks as boobs, I was in no way making reference to female body parts. I just want to be clear about that. :)

Well that was a short break..ENT returns to Syfy's weekday schedule Monday afternoon, one hour earlier, replacing Lost repeats @ 4EST.3pmCentral.
Season 1, Broken Bow Pt 1.
The newly launched (as of this past) Friday 7pm EST telecasts will continue-at least they're still on the schedule through August.
