the BIGGEST blooper

Star Trek Movies...

Ahhhhh..we love to argue which one is the best, or which one is the worse (nemesis, wink wink) and..well..its just fun to do.

But some of the TREK movies have had bloopers that made it up on the screen anyway, that had to either be explained away (Khan/Chekov) or just glossed over because it was an effect or boom-mic that you could see..

What is, in your opinion, the onscreen blooper from the movies. I want to do know because I now have 1-6 on bluray and would like to look for them since I've seen them a zillion times now.

At the end of Star Trek III. The cliff that Kruge is on does not break correctly. Also he does not fall straight down, but at an angle.

Valeris slides down a pole in VI and bumps into the bulkhead causing it to shake noticeably.

I think Starfleet not knowing Ceti Alpha Six had blown up was a bit of a stretch. Yeah, I know, they can't be everywhere at all times. But there had to be some kind of planetary debris indicating SOMETHING had happened there when the reliant arrived...

Rob

Yeah....a planet blowing up is a big thing. And...again. They probably had SOME star charts of the area since they'd obviously been there before. There were six planets in the system at least. Now there are fewer than that. I WONDER WHAT HAPPENED HERE

One of the biggest bloopers of this kind that makes me groan is the "trilithium" thing in Generations. The worst part is that it only contradicts ONE episode of TNG, but it's a huge contradiction, and one that still annoys me.

The 'bulkhead' she bumps is actually an inset panal that looks like it is the sliding door to a storage area.

The piece of debris from the exploding BoP at the end of VI and Gen which bounces off the camera's safety glass. That one has to be the biggest... I mean it made it into not just one, but two movies.

To this day, I do not know why people think that is a mistake/blooper. :vulcan:

Not sure if this counts...but in TMP there is a scene when the Enterprise is inside of VGR. And there is a dramatic burst of music and I swear, if you listen carefully, who can here a voice go "OOOOOOOOOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOO" at the same point..anyone ever hear this???

YES! I've always wondered what's up with that. You don't even have to listen carefully, it's quite noticeable. Is it also in Goldsmith's score? I don't remember hearing it when I listened to the film score.

He's asking for a BIG blooper, not a deck sign messup.

How about the BOP going to warp in the atmosphere in TVH?

Or if you want the 'other kind' of blooper, Joachim's eyes going from open to shut after he is dead when Khan hugs him.

Yep to yours...When he closes his eyes, I bet maybe its because Ricardo didn't use the deodorent, trying to get into character, you know how actors are..

There is no Chekov conflict, his first onscreen episode has a stardate that is a lesser value than Space Seed. For all we know he was working in a different department or the night shift.
