Does this actress look like a younger Angelina Jolie?

She's a soapie actress. Yes, in my vocabulary, that's not a nice term. Went from the Aussie 'Home And Away' to the US 'The Lung And the Waistless'. Supposedly a singer, but can't say she cracked the charts.

As for resemblance, no, not physically really, not emotionally, not anything.

I agree with those that feel she's a bit on the 'too skinny' side. Having just downloaded The Gimp and Paint.net, I decided to make a few modifications. I fattened up her face a bit and cut off some hair. Those with excellent vision will no doubt notice two more subtle changes I made. :)

Maybe in the last pic of the OP, but generally not really.

Still, definitely my type. :bolian:

That's Tammin Sursok, yes? She's an Australian singer-actress. I think she's pretty, but I'll agree she could stand to put on a few pounds. I don't see much of a resemblance to Jolie, no.

I think 'singer' is a bit of a stretch. She's yet to do anything at all after leaving 'Home & Away' (Yes I'm Australian, though I don't watch it) a few years back. And H&A isn't really seen any any decent television acting show and it's stars are seen as C-grade celebrities down here.

The oddest thing about her is that she is incredibly short (which Jolie isn't) to the point where her head looks disproportionate to her body.

Plus a younger Jolie? She looks nothing like Jolie in Hackers, they're completely different.

Whoa... I just discovered that if you look at my picture above and cross your eyes so that the pictures blend, you'll get a neat 3D effect.

The future of porn is here :)

No, I don't think she looks like Angelina Jolie at all. She's all right I guess, but she's got a bit too much presence around her middle though, if you look at the 5th picture:

Either that, or her pants are way too tight. Work out girl, don't be a muscled broad, but do change those flabby arms and flabby middle into something a little tighter.

There are some women I'd like to pin down and force feed. She has just been added to the list.

As for resemblance, aside from them both being seemingly unable to figure out how to eat a meal without saying "I'm full" after two and a half bites, not a bit. Besides. Jolie was a lot more attractive when she was younger. After the nose job.

Hmm, Moila's sole posts have been this thread and the Lynsey Fonseca thread. I sense a trend...

Will we see any more from him/her other than this? And if not, why these threads? Do they work for a talent agency or something?

Enquiring minds would like to know...

Good point. Moila, perhaps it would be best to just include any future posts of this nature in this thread and we can change the title to something more generic. I'd rather not see the forum overrun with a dozen topics that could basically be described as "compare this hot twentysomething actress who looks like a teenager to a hot older actress." Hey, there's a title.

On topic, she's very cute, but the resemblance to Jolie is minor at best, mostly because of the lips.

As far as the "too thin" thing goes, I'm not seeing it. She doesn't have extremely pronounced hip bones or exposed ribs. She seems to be at a healthy weight. I think the "too thin" thing is overused like the "generic blond" label. It's fine if your preference is for women with a little more meat on their bones, but too often people throw it out there as if the girls in question are actually at an unhealthy weight or something. She seems to be fairly normal for her age.

I said I thought she's on the edge. Her arms are almost bean poles in some pictures and she definitely has a throat/upper chest area that's showing the shoulder and collarbones too well defined, and bordering on showing ribs below her breasts. She's not too thin yet but she could stand to gain some weight and not look overweight.

Sorry. It wasn't directed at you or anyone else specifically, just a general comment on the frequency of that response in pic threads about female celebrities. It just seems to get thrown around a lot more than is justifiable I think, and has become something of a cliché response.

It is true there are many thin celeberties but it is quickly applied to anyone who is even slightly underweight and not too thin. She's IMO right on that border. A lot of people mistake thin for good and healthy.

Thin is underweight and not appropriate (thus not healthy, average or normal is healthy). It's more a misuse of the word than the actual person's weight but it sounds better to call someone thin because that is the supposed ideal. I'd rather be a healthy weight than thin or fat.

There's been decades of women who have been nothing but too thin to be healthy as role models (as ironically, health officials have started saying everyone is too obese to be healthy these days, which is probably an exaggeration) and now that it's being pointed out so and so is too thin and needs to gain weight.

Anyone who is a bit underweight is called on it. It's no different than being slightly overweight and called fat which used to be/still is the norm and a lot more negative.

The problem is as usual, the way it's addressed. It's always so severe that people get called on being outside their healthy weight. Sadly you're either fat or anorexic and that's how society works. It's harsh judgements. It's okay to be slightly over or under, it's when you go too far that it really begins to impact.

Judging by the responses there seems to be a lot of fatty chasers in this board! She looks fine. Just because most of your girlfriends are proud muffin tops or cannot satiate themselves on a 16oz steak doesn't mean she has to follow the same rules. She is slim and she's fine, not to mention quite beautiful.

Come to think of it i dont think she looks like Jolie but just her lips and thats it, but maybe a mixture of other celebs. I think she is very slim but in a pretty way. :)

I just wanted to clarify that the pic of her in light pink dress was when she was 19.

And this is recent pics of her when she is now 25

Flabby arms and middle? You're kidding, right?

Ah yes, because you think she looks fine, those who don't must think women who aren't underweight are fat. Brilliant response.

Come on, look at that picture. Instead of 2 buttocks, she's got six; four on the back and two on the side. That's four too much for me; they're bulging out of her pants as if they're trying to escape and have a beer with their buttock-mates. The hips are supposed to be the widest point on a female's lower body, not the middle.

She seems to look a lot better on the latest (25yr) picture though. She almost looks underweight on the one above. Seems like she's had a bit of a hormone problem. :D

Some people here almost sound like force-feeders, the way they go on about "she could gain some more pounds!". She's got a good figure now, looking at that latest picture. Any more and she'd become fat.

Doesn't look like Jolie to me...

And is anyone else bored with this "feed her, eat a sandwich" shit already ?

If she was fat and we were telling her to cut the humbergers or get her ass some exercise I'm sure all hell would have broken loose and threads would be getting closed.

Oh good lord, and now the opposite extreme from the "too thin" comments. By what bizarre metric could she possibly be considered to be on the verge of being fat? The anorexic supermodel scale?

No wonder so many young women have a jacked up body image with wildly mixed messages like this.

If she was fat and we were telling her to cut the humbergers or get her ass some exercise I'm sure all hell would have broken loose and threads would be getting closed.

I don't agree with either the thin or fat comments in this case, but I don't see how closing down topics helps anything. People need to discuss the issues openly (and preferably civilly) in order to convey their point of view to others. Shutting down lines of discussion accomplishes nothing but hiding away the issues at hand and letting resentments fester.
