My Expanding Portfolio...

I'm still having trouble with the leg proportions, although the first drawing seems an improvement.
But it should not be hit or miss. It's very easy to get right if you do take the basic step of doing some construction sketching first, but it's pretty apparent that's not what you're doing.

If you're interested in improving, I'm happy to help. On the other hand, if you're not interested in the specific suggestions I'm making, I'll clam up. I don't want to come across as endlessly critical, and don't want to parrot the same suggestions again and again.

In short, if you want advice and are willing to actually try the suggestions, just ask. Otherwise, this is my last comment.

So by "portfolio" do actually mean that you're endeavoring to assemble a professional corpus representative of your artistic work, or do you mean "stuff I've scribbled on a notepad for my own enjoyment and to learn and practice"? To be blunt, I hope it is the latter.

^The latter, rather than the former. And here is me trying to use depth and perspective to make more realistic shapes and objects:
