Gay Exorcism!?!?!

IIRC, he wants government to keeps it's hands out of marriage period. He doesn't accept it Biblically, but that doesn't mean he thinks it's something that government should have it's hands in.
IIRC. YMMV. VWP. SSFD.

Ah, I see. And stop it with the hippity hoppity bippity boppity! ;)

The kids, they listen to the rap music. That gives them the brain damage. With the hippin and the hoppin and the bippin and the boppin, so they don't know what the jazz is all about! You see, jazz is like jello pudding. No, actually its more like Kodak film. No, actually jazz is like the New Coke. It'll be around forever."

You know you've watched the Simpsons too long when you can read that quote exactly how it was spoken, and in the same voice, as the character actor playing Bill Cosby.

That's one of my favorite pieces of writing on the show.

Where's the funny part there? Being seperated from God is no laughing matter.

If he were, you'd have a point, but he's not.

J.

Did I miss a memo, J? I thought no one comes before the Father but through his Son?

Who are you, to say that he is separated from God? You have no authority, you have no knowledge. You are in the dark. You are guessing. You are applying what little you understand to something you do not comprehend. The worst part is that you do it with absolute certainty.

Well, without getting too far off course, simply read what the guy said. Or, you could simply ask him if he believes Christ is the Son of God and if He died for him. If he does believe this then I willingly apologize. If he does not then it is what it is. Would you agree?

And before the moderators chime in, I was only responding to what they guy had to say about his relationship, or lack thereof, with Christ.

I would not. It is not your domain to say who is and who is not separated from God. It is merely your domain to serve and aid when others need it. You overstep your bounds.

His business. Not yours.

Sorry, God's Word teaches us who is and who is not entering His kingdom. There is nothing wrong with sharing that.

It is neither thy job nor thy duty to judge another, that right is reserved for thy LORD alone.

Paraphrased, but the point still stands.

Sorry, God's Word teaches us who is and who is not entering His kingdom. There is nothing wrong with sharing that.
So, on the one hand, your beliefs teach you that your god is the only one that can judge people, for they are his creations. And on the other hand, you say it's perfectly alright to judge people if you believe you are right. Doesn't that constitute "playing god"? Seems to me that, by your faith, you are reaching just a tiny little bit too high; you are a mere Human, after all, not a god.

Where am I judging anyone? Please point it out to me.
