Yeah, it's a little too deep. Maybe trim it down just a tad?

Yeah, either trim down the landing deck a bit or pull the doors back a bit.
Just pull the doors back, otherwise the size is just fine. NuTrek seems to prefer large ample shuttlebays with LOTS of shuttles to go around.

I don't intend for these images to start a Enterprise-Size-War. The TOS Enterprise was built before I started scaling these models relative to anything else, (It's probably 4 years old, by now!) and it just happened to come out this size.
The Constellation is a little "fatter" than the new Enterprise, but shorter. More primitive doesn't always mean smaller, after all.

Shouldn't the TOS Enterprise be about half the size you're showing here?
Put a star field behind that render of the 4 ships... and it would make for an excellent wallpaper, methinks!

Well, he did say he made them 4 years ago, so we can let it slide.
I read somewhere on here that the originally intended size of the JJPrise was actually supposed to be 366m. It looks about right considering that the TOS Enterprise was... What? 289m?
Probably... but, like I said, I didn't fix it to match the scale.
I should come up with one that is...
As I said above, if the original E was 289m (that was the original spec, right?) and the new one was designed to be 366m, does that bare out with your models?

To be fair, the effects shots don't really have her that big (else the Lexington would be over a kilometer, easily) ... it's just studio noise from the same people who fired individuals for setting a comparitive scale. The new 720m number is just penis-envy.
