USS Aventine???

*can divide by zero
*invulnerable to phaser fire
*able to leap tall buildings in a single bound

I love the look of the thing, it's pretty awesome, but uber-ships always get my goat.

I got 5 pages of specs waiting for approval. I can't share these atm. (I'm waiting for things to calm down at s&s.)

It's a modern ship, but except for the features that I had to integrate from the books, I tried to keep it on the normal side of uber. :)

At the moment the ship is waiting on my hdd for a refit. I'm playing with the idea to open a "Work in Progress" topic for that refit. (Hope to be finished around March 2010.)

Here are all the released images located of the current version:

agreed, least it doesn't have 15 photon tubes.:techman:

Gotta admit, she looks beautiful. some great lines!

Hey, Mark, dunno if this falls under the category of non-cleared info, but how exactly is the ship's name and registry painted on the dorsal face of the saucer? I'd assume the usual practice of placing it forward center would be complicated a bit by the centerline fin?

Actually forward center is where it is atm. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the "centerline fin". I try to keep the name and registry position in mind during the design process. :) (Sometimes I forget by over-enthousiasm.)

For those who don't know/or would like to know...

The Aventine isn't a fandom ship/kit-bash for the calender, it is now in fact an official ship in the fiction, it's latest adventure was under the command of Captain Ezri Dax in the Star Trek: Destiny novels.

It is a Vesta Class Starship, and there are now several of it's type in service in the fiction.

(Mild spoilers may be contained within the link above)

Hope this helped those with an interest....
