Science can answer a lot, or give theories to a lot of things, but it doesn't have all the answers, and theories are just theories, some of which cannot even be proven.

Science and Religion can coexist, for me, Science answers a lot of things about the how God created the universe.

Yeah! But it leaves out the most important part and then tries to fill in the holes with a "singularity". I also agree they can coexist though,

There are indeed Christian Scientists. I believe in the Big Bang. I just believe that God was the one that initiated it. I'm sure you've seen that bumper sticker "I believe in the Big Bang Theory, God spoke and BANG it happened"

Yeah those were my thoughts exactly. I'm all for religious tolerance and everything but actual exorcism presupposes real demons. And that's just nutty.

Christ Himself exorcised demons.

He did no such thing, since there are no such things as demons. Do you still believe that people with epilepsy or mental illness are possessed by demons?

If you were to have any 'mental illnesses' would you get an exorcism, or seek therapy, medical intervention for it?

Not at all. Someone may find some relief from possession, but a demon isn't going to leave a body because of some chemicals.

Did He? Or did you merely assume that the events told in those stories were completely literal? Who was there to witness it, and who survived to tell the writers of the Gospels, and did you realize that it was very common in that day for "holy men" of every kind who could exorcise demons? This was a culture that said if you were ill, you had a demon. If you committed adultery, you had a demon, a curse on your family existed if a son died. If you were blind, your parents were cursed and it was passed on to you for so many generations. You need to see this in perspective. Look around you and take notice of the signs of the times.

That's your right to believe as you wish. However, you have no more proof of those stories being anything more than metaphorical than you do that demon possession is a real, spiritual affliction. What you are believing is still animism, just keep that in mind.

The New Testament was probably written before 70AD.
