Anyone Reading 'Invincible'?

Man this last issue was fucking brutal. I think Kirkman has the biggest balls in the industry right now.

I'm catching up on the trades so the last thing I read was the big Martian invasion. It's definitely one of my favorites comics, though. So colorful and fun and packed full of cool characters, even if the whole thing is one protracted DC/Marvel "pastiche"

I just finished reading it, up to issue 63. It is awesome. I just finished reading J.M.S's Rising Stars, so at first I was disappointed that it wasn't as "serious" as RS, but then I really got hooked by the characters and the humor and just the fun universe.

You know its a real good book when you fear bad stuff happening to your favorite characters; you just don't want them to go. Also, turning other characters from good to bad to good again (potentially) is always fun when done well.

Can't wait for more.

I've now finished the fourth ultimate trade, I dont know what issue that is. This will they / won't they stuff with Atom Eve is driving me crazy Just hook up already! I really like how the Viltrumite invasion stuff is slowly set up as Earth slowly discovers new powerful allies to help them with the eventual war.

I love how they can show Atom Eve getting punched through the chest, but not her nipples.

Yeah, that does kinda suck, but that is the way with America now. Gruesome violence = ok; consenting sex between adults = bad.

This is the first time in years that I have actually gone out and bought comics. As a side note, in opposition to the above, libraries stash some age-inappropriate stuff in the "young adults" section if you ask me.

Anyone know of any good Invincible fan websites? The Image site is ok, but I haven't found any in depth, good fan sites.
