Okay, so you've injured yourself. You're still alive because you didn't wear your red shirt today, but it's touch and go. Which doctor do you go to?

Leonard "Bones" McCoy (TOS)
Katherine Pulaski (TNG)
Beverly Crusher (TNG)
Julian Bashir (Deep Space Nine)
The Doctor (Voyager)
Phlox (Enterprise)

Let's face it, they're all good. However, as much as I think it would be awesome to sip mint julips with Bones McCoy, Bashier has 100 years more modern medicine to work with, and a genetically enhanced intellect. He's got my vote.

Bones or the Doctor.....

McCoy is a great guy to talk to, but the Doctor is Robert Picardo.

McCoy, because he's a doctor, not a bricklayer, dammit! :)

He's gruff and will tell it to you straight. And if you have a headache, he'll give you an aspirin instead of sticking some crazy contraption on your head.

Dr. Pulaski wins... hands down. She is dedicated, knowledgeable and will back down a captain to do what she believes is right for her patient (me)!
She is the only doctor who gave up her life and career to help others. (IMO, the best character send off in Trek.)

Bones would be my first choice, and if he wasn't available, I'd go for Phlox. All doctors are pretty competant at their job, but at least with these two I know I'll be in good company during recovery.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Bones gets my vote as well. I remember a fan stating that with all that advanced technology, she would want the person with the best heart to help her out.

Oh! I didn't see Pulaski! How did I miss that? Ah well, Bones is still my first choice, but she would be my second without a doubt.

I would go with Dr Bashir for the reasons stated above. (and Phlox has too many animals in his sickbay for my liking, not to mention the creepy grin of his)

Leonard "Bones" McCoy (TOS)
Have to have the country doctor fix me up. But I've got to be careful too, don't need the "he's dead,Jim"!

The Holodoc- he just outright knows the most stuff and has the most ability to operate and treat. End of.

And where's Piper in this poll?

Oh, he only did that to guests of the week and unnamed redshirts. :D
