Some Season Five News

The main story is a typical tabloid rehash of a months-old claim by message board "sources" who have already been debunked on several other points. And blue walls and white windows is a description of the TARDIS exterior. So, more tabloid rubbish-- the gap year seems to have made them really desperate for something to print.

Nah, I think we're all jonesing for Dr. Who news. Me: I check everyday for a picture of Matt Smith in costume. We're such sad nerds, aren't we?

RTD confirmed the gist of this story at the screening of episode 1 of Torchwood: Children of Earth last night.

According to whom? I've read several accounts from people who were there and you think they'd have mentioned it.

And why on Earth would he be talking about a series the making of which he has absolutely no involvement in anyway? It would be completely unprofessional and an insult to his friend Moffat to boot.

The TARDIS going retro- True, but it's the exterior that's getting white window frames.

Daleks in Smith's first story- Old news. Months ago on OG there was a thread
- even before Smith was cast - that Moffat wasn't so keen to use the Daleks, but the BBC wanted their money's worth out of their agreement with the Nation Estate and so were insisting that the Daleks appear in season 5 as in every season. The same thread further speculated that Moffat had said somewhere that if he had to use them, he'd put them in the first story to get them over with.

This is just a re-hash of that story, with some added fearmongering.

I'm not going to buy into this story without additional confirmation, but if they do use the Daleks in Series 5, I'd prefer they go ahead and do it at the beginning of the series rather than the end.

Personally, I don't believe this news - apart from anything else bringing back the Daleks in Matt Smith's opening show can only detract from focussing on the new Doctor - but I do believe that if anyone can bring a whole new dimension to a Dalek story it's Mr Moffat.

I hope they do have the white window frames back......i loved that look, i love seeing the old hartnell shows were the windows were actually ajar at times.

A story invented by the proven liar and all round nutter Eddie.
