I'm still reading Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Mission Gamma: Twilight by David R. George the Third (even his name is long). I've got about a third of it left. Meanwhile, since a co-worker lended me Absolute Power by David Baldacci I've been reading it at work (when I have nothing to do).

Aside from a couple of Robert A. Heinleins that I'm planning on getting from the library today, I'll be stopping at the bookstore to get one of two choices on my list. Initially it was going to be Oliver Twist, but now I'm leaning more towards the Terok Nor trilogy...
The "Terok Nor" trilogy is fantastic. "Day of the Vipers" would make my list of top five Star Trek books.
Good, because that's what I decided to get. :) I'm planning a "Big Read" of ST books, both re-reading ones I have and catching up on what I've missed in the past little while.
Good choice. I'm about halfway through DOTV myself, and quite enjoying it.

Just finished Crisis on Centaurus. I generally found it entertaining, despite some odd anachronisms (airplanes? Cars?) and the author doing little with Joanna McCoy. Some nice elements, though, like the bit about Garrovick Valley...

I'm now reading Troublesome Minds. So far so good, though I'm having trouble picturing the alien.

I'm trying to decide if I should pick it up "now" (in reality it would have to wait just a little) or if I can hold on until I get to it in the Mostly-By-Publication-Date order I lined up for my reading--which won't start until after I finish rewatching DS9. :p

I finished Arctic Hell-Ship: H.M.S. Enterprise 1850-55 the day before--like the cold, shocking at first but you eventually become numb to all the suffering. I carved out a large chunk of Lost Souls last night, which seems to have recaptured the first book's pacing... and, to my bemusement, features people suffering in an Arctic environment. Ah, life's little serendipities...

Fictitiously yours, Trent Roman

I just finished Vanguard #1 and Robert J. Sawyer's new novel WWW: Wake. Vanguard was a bit of a slow read, but I'll probably still get to the other books in the series. Sawyer is always a treat.

Over the last month I've been reading:
-- The complete short stories of Hercule Poirot -- Agatha Crhistie
-- This book does not exist: Adventures in the Paradoxical -- Gary Hayden and Michael Picard
-- Enterprise: Last Full Measure -- MAM & AM
-- TOS: Mere Anarchy

Finished Last Full Measure, have started Diane Duane's Rihannsu: The Bloodwing Voyages omnibus, from the few chapters I've read so far, it's going to be a great adventure.

Currently reading Iris Wildthyme and the Celestial Omnibus, edited by Paul Magrs and Stuart Douglas. One of the less obvious literary Doctor Who spinoffs. Enjoying it so far.

Now I'm on to Paul Cornell's Fantastic Four mini, True Story. The story is decent, the dialogue is excellent, the art... is problematic.
I finished this not long after I read it, and then I read Dave Galanter's Troublesome Minds, which took a while. Not because of Dave's book, but because I've had an extraordinarily hard time of focusing on anything of late. But I finally finished that today, and now I'll start Star Wars: Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel by Karen Traviss.

My exam reading is going pretty poorly; this week, I finally finished one of last week's three texts, She Stoops to Conquer, an 18th-century romantic comedy by Oliver Goldsmith. I also read about a sixth of Robinson Crusoe. I must do better next week!

Just finished "Mere Anarchy" and really enjoyed it. Krad did a great job getting the writers to complete the series and maintaing a really good story line and all ofthe writers did an excellent job with the TOS characters....they were dead on!!! Great job by all and I recommend the series to everyone..highly enjoyable.

Will now begin Voyager "Violations"

Steve, I recently started Order 66 as well, and I'm about 100 pages into it. I look forward to hearing your opinion on it when you're done.
