Oh no! The 12" on is still in the box. He is sitting by my computer at home. (He is right beside me as I type this!) I was talking about the 6" one I bought last Friday. He sits on my desk (with Spock, Mr. Potato Head, the Transformers, Legos, GI Joes and my pet fish, Fred).

And my boss is awesome. He is just as big of a kid as I am. I will have to tell you about the office "Nerf Wars" sometimes. Grown adults screaming, rolling around on the floor and diving behind stuff for cover is a bit odd but we do love a good time.

And on another note, when I came back from making the bank run this afternoon I caught my boss playing with my McCoy action figure. He said it was very "cool" and that he loved the new movie. The man is a dream to work for anyway but he received even more cool points this afternoon.

Our contracts administration guy saw Dr. Mc Coy sitting next to my computer and started talking to me about seeing the movie. He said he's pissed that they didn't see it in IMAX. And he said his wife cried during the first 10 minutes (although my theory is that he was the one who was crying).

Isn't it though. People have just come out of the woodwork asking me about it. Even my ten year-old nephew risked getting in trouble with his mom to call me long distance to chat about it. I am the cool uncle again. (Ok, I never stopped but now I am even more so.)

If I saw this picture without knowing the knowing the movie or any of the people, I'd probably guess that Karl was playing the bad guy. He looks so fierce!
