Are we already forgetting the new dimension given in this Article stating the NuE is 2000ft (609m).
I know there's been some grumbling about using the Tobias Richter graphic, but it seems to be the best that we have now for scaling comparison purposes.

I still think they meant to make the Enterprise roughly the same size as the original, but they didn't know the dimensions on the original to begin with. If they thought the original was 1300 feet like they say in that article and they scaled the new one up to 2000 feet that means what we essentially get is a ship that has been scaled up 1.54 times the original. Which would give us figures of something like 1540 feet I believe, if scaled up in that proportion. 
But the question NOW is, is it TOO big?
