Friday & Weekend Numbers - $2.5M/$8.5M

Went again with the GF last night. #3 for me, #2 for her. There were MORE people in the theatre than there were 2 weeks ago. I think that's a good sign.

Wow... Most definitely a good sign that even with fewer venues, the screens available will be well-attended... :)

We went to the early show this afternoon (#13 viewing, I think), and there were quite a few people there; they laughed and had a good time.

I asked the ticket seller how long Trek was going to be there, and she thought it would be there again next weekend, because it was a popular movie, she said.

13 times!?!
I think so; it might be 14, but I kinda lost count, so I'm being conservative.

The deal really is that I don't think I have been to the cinema since LOTR:Return of the King. So, I'm overdue. It's just in one lump sum, compared to most people.

Excellent numbers. :D
I want to see Trek one more time before it leaves theaters, and then the anxious wait for Blu-ray.

J.

The hangover was very good, and was very well attended.
I didn't see anyone buy tickets for LotL

I saw it for a fifth time (or was it sixth) last night, all my friends went to see Terminator and I just didn't want to.

I've had enough of Will Ferrel for a while. He oversaturated big time.
But I can't believe how well Trek is doing!

True. I went to see ST 6 times, but I'm at the cinema all the time.... well except for those months I lived in Gretton. Four pubs and no shop. Trecking all the way to Kettering for a film, only to find out that the Corby-Gretton bus had been cancelled was not fun.

Wow, 19 Mil for LOTL. Truly horrible. It won't even make back half its budget.

Trek Looks to be at 230 at the end of next weekend. I'm not really seeing 250 as possible, but it should pass TMP and 240 by the time its done.
