Also, I wouldn't want to think of the real world implications of a relationship with either character. Kirk would, you know, probably have trouble keeping the goods in his trousers and not getting all red in the face when he was angry. Spock would discount all your arguments as illogical and get all pissy when you wanted to talk about an issue.

I agree. I like to think that once you get Spock to come out of his shell (he's a challenge, of course), he's a wild man. He obviously is in a fight, so why shouldn't he be just as unrestrained in other acts of physical passion?

But with NuKirk and NuSpock, weren't they both brains and brawn? (They just put information together differently, and had different levels of aggression.)

nuKirk is smarter than old kirk, for sure. He's still more brawny than brainy. nuSpock is more emotional and willing to have a relationship with a human compared to old Spock.

I like 'em both, but I'd trust Spock in a relationship much more. I'd worry what sort of venereal disease Kirk would give me.

Exactly! I prefer to choose rather than be chosen, and Spock would be a challenge worth working for.

Anyways, moving on. This was tough for me, as I thought everyone in this movie was just dead sexy. *fans self*

To start off, I want to say that if this was in relation to TOS, I'd be for Spock/Nimoy all the way (because brains > brawn is a true fact!), but since this between Quinto and Pine as Spock and Kirk...and as good looking as I think Quinto is (and btw I only ever gave Heroes a chance because of him and Pasdar ), I gotta go with Kirk/Pine.

Because...I mean...dammit, check out his pretty eyes! That gorgeous smile!

And believe me, this is a shocking development here. Spock from TOS was my first crush so to speak. As much as I liked Kirk, I never once thought of him as sexy (and as a result was always confused why he and not Spock got all the female action). And now?

Well, now Chris Pine has me looking at Kirk in a very different way.
