Need a Wii bit of advice

No, just the new game. The remake is coming to PC & Xbox 360, the new one to Wii and PC.

A point-and-click adventure:

Zack and Wiki

Although not in the traditional, Lucasartsy sense.

Still good though, nice shout!

On topic, because I'm not quite sure what the OP is asking:

I more prefer to play a game for a while and that's it. I'm not much into games that you "save as you progress" and then "you merelly complete them. I also don't like games that seem so much like movies that they almost play themselves.

Are you saying that you essentially don't like games that have any kind of plot? Sounds a bit like my wife, although she LOVED the Strongbad episodes.

To be honest, I think Wii Sports is still one of the best, if not THE best game on the system. My favourite Wii titles are MadWorld and No More Heroes but I guess they wouldn't be up your alley.

Thinking about it, you would do well to grab yourself some WiiPoints and get World of Goo and Lost Winds from the WiiWare store.

I keep meaning to check out World of Goo, just haven't got round to it yet.
I own tons of Wii games, can't think of one I've completed, even though I do like many of them.

For me, I suppose that depends on how you define completed. Super Mario Galaxy, I finished the story, but only got 119 of the 120 stars. Goddamn Luigi's Purple Coins...

Oh there's a few I've completed the story on. Mario Galaxy, Sonic, Star Trek Conquest, etc. I don't think I've done every single thing there is to do on any of them.

Wii Sports is still awesome. Bowling is pretty much all I do on it. Got a 298 Game, messed up the last throw. :scream:

Also like others have said Zelda and Mario Kart are cool too.

I have to give another vote for Zack and Wiki, great game. Tiger Woods 10 is the best golf game ever made because of the Wii controller + the motion plus addon included in the game. World of Goo is great as well.

Ghostbusters for the Wii will have two-player same-console co-op. And you get a $20 gift card if you buy it from Toys R Us this week.
