Star Trek: TITAN: Animated Series

These have a great style and sense of design. A live action show might be beyond possibility for post-TNG Trek right now, but it'd be cool if there was some sort of animated movie or miniseries put out there to test the waters.

That image really suits her.

But you gotta feel sorry for Noah when she´s around:
"Hello, Bralik," she said agreeably.

"Hi, Alyssa," Bralik said, pulling something from her tunic. She held it out toward Noah. "And how are you, little grub? I brought you some candy!"

Noah scowled. "I didn't like that last stuff you gave me. It tasted yucky."

Bralik's eyes popped wide. "The honey beetle clusters? Oh, I'm hurt."

Ogawa tapped her son on the shoulder. "Noah, I thought I taught you to be more polite than that."

Noah sighed dramatically and held out his hand. "Thank you for the candy, Aunt Bralik." She deposited a hard bar of a translucent, greenish substance in his hand. He sniffed at it tentatively. "What is it?"

"Slug Slime," Bralik said, smiling. "Now why don't you go get Auntie Bralik some water, and she'll forget your lapse in manners."

As soon as Noah had scampered out of the room, Ogawa asked, "What was that?"

Bralik shrugged. "Slug Slime? I don't have any idea what's in it. But grubs of all species seem to like it."

I have not read the Titan novels, but ... That crew just seems odd. Is Riker the only Human on board? :D :D Sure seems that way...

Novels may not have the budget restrictions of regular shows when it comes to having "regulars" as exotic aliens, but the difference strikes me as excessive.

Not exactly the only human but Riker made it a point to assemble the most diverse crew to date. It actually servers for a lot of interesting subplots.

Yes. I thought I'd do a second "card series" with the secondary characters and those who've died or otherwise left the ship.

But before that I thought about making some desktop wallpapers of some scenes from the books.

Love the work. Glad to see all of the different characters so far. What's with the uniforms through? Are you changing them to almost resemble those used in Countdown and the online game?

Not so much. I wanted a sort of familiar/generic Starfleet uni that could easily translate to animation. No big concept there, just simplicity. I flipped the color scheme for Troi because she has a dual function on the ship, as Counsellor and Diplomatic Officer.

These are so cool :):techman:

makes me wish CBS/Paromount would hurry up and do a new series or animated series while they still can :(
