Treated myself to more movies than I deserve this memorial day weekend

Dark City
Event Horizon
The Royal Tenenbaums
Hard Boiled
The Ultimate Oliver Stone DVD Collection

I looked at my giant DVD shelf and realized OMG I DON'T HAVE 2001.

I promptly punched myself in the face and dragged my ass down to Best Buy to correct my mistake.

I picked up a new pair of work shoes and a few movies:

Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
The Blues Brothers
Liar Liar
Once Bitten

Tomorrow, I'm probably going to pick up Infamous for the PS3

I went shopping today! Whooo Hoooo!

I had a blast!

I think I should prescribe shopping trips instead of antidepressants.

Ok, so technically I think my latest purchase was a gallon of milk, but I still consider my latest purchase to be my brand new Sony FX 1000...

Ok, so that one's not mine because I haven't taken any pictures of mine yet.

There's something slightly bizarre about taking photos of photographic equipment. I had to do it for an auction the other day and it felt wrong...

Am the proud owner of a 6 inch tall Dr. Mc Coy "action figure."

And we all know where you're going to put that.

(the mantelpiece above your fireplace, of course.

Why, where did you think I meant?)

O.M.F.G.

My new bed was delivered this morning.

It is amazingly comfort...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah, a nice bed is thing of sheer wonder.
Oh hell yes. A good bed is worth every penny you spend on it, even if you have to do without elsewhere for a while.

We spent at least a third of our lives in it, better make it good!

I got some flavored coffee. One is Pralines and Cream and the other is Cherry Cordial. I also got some milk for the coffee and a pack of fresh raspberries.

Over 25% off 100cl bottles of Bombay Sapphire in Tesco's this morning = more Tom Collins for me this afternoon...

Today I did some retail therapy and got a bunch of little things:

1) Books for my nephew's birthday
2) "The Quiet Man" dvd
3) A card deck on teas
4) Bags that preserve fruits and veggies longer. My mom claims they work well so we'll see.

Two tickets to "UP," (LOVED IT!) and then $55 dollars worth of groceries.

When my parents come to visit Hippieville this weekend, I think I'm going to convince them to watch it at the Drafthouse with me. And Star Trek, too, if they haven't seen it yet.

I bought groceries, and the only "splurge" I got was a tube of mascara to replace the old one. CD is not taking a chance on another eye infection, no sir!

I actually bought a bathing suit from Land's End.

The question is, will I have the nerve to actually put it on?

I got the Science Insignia shirt. 12 bucks shipped isn't bad. they have the command & engineering insignia shirts also.
