I've been trying to unlock the Silver Surfer for weeks. I don't get much time to play, a few hours here and there. I'm down to Storm and Spider-woman. Spider-woman survives easily and even defeats the Wrecker easily, but even when I loiter to kill extra badguys, I can't get 15,000 pts for Bronze. Storm is worse. She is extremely weak when it comes to her hit points. She gets hit by the damn clown poison and it is all over. I just gave her the Dark Uru hammer, but she still sucks. When I get to the Shiar lady with the whip, she just kicks my ass.

Does anyone have any tips? I keep playing on the Ulrik level, which is total carnage, to level up. I take Thor and Wolverine along to increase the kills, but I'm getting really frustrated with those two boards(Storm and Spider-woman).

Well, I definitely feel your pain on Storm. That is a tough, tough mission. I recently had to re-beat it myself. (Long story - accidentally erased, had to go back and re-beat my games.)

I recommend using the multi attacks with her as much as possible to clear the clowns quickly - the hail and lightning. Try to clear those rooms one by one, and don't waste too much time in the bumper car area.

Also, try to save your ultimate attack for use on Hussar as soon as you get to her, hit her with as many special attacks as possible, and then beat the crap out of her to built the ultimate attack back up, and she should release enough health to sustain you if you keep repeating the process.

As for Spider-Woman, I haven't beaten hers myself for a long, long time so I don't really have any specific advice.

There is a cheat code for the Surfer (but you don't get the achievement.) Mine came with a little card with the code in it as a store exclusive.

After I unlock the Silver Surfer, what happens if you launch a new game? Does he remain unlocked or does it reset? I'd like to play from the beginning with Silver Surfer.

You can start playing again with everyone unlocked/at the levels they were, just like if you unlock
    Nick Fury
which you do simply by beating it.

I think it gives you a choice to load saved data when you start a new game. (Like I said, it's been a while since I was able to do this so I'm not exactly sure how it works.) Just don't save over anything.

I just paid the 800 points for the unlock all . I hate quests.

Is that an X-box live thing? I don't have that. The paying 800 points to unlock it all.

Not sure, I certainly don't remember that. The only MUA DLC I remember was the Heroes (Hulk, Hawkeye, Nightcrawler, Cyclops) and Villains (Magneto, Venom, Sabretooth, Dr. Doom) packs.

I was able to defeat the Spiderwoman simulation on Bronze. There is a room with 4 or 5 ultron/doombots. The room has a forcefield on one side. It is after you break open that one wall. If you kill all those bots and then run back beyond the broken wall then you hear an electronic sound and all those robots reappear. I just went back to that room over and over until I had 11,000 points, then I went on and had around 13,500 by the time I fought the Wrecker.

I still haven't won with Storm. I get through the clowns, but the imperial guard chick with the whip keeps killing me before I can even get her to shed some red health.

Good job with S-W. If you keep trying with Storm and do what I said - use the Ultimate move first, then pummel her with hail, lightning, whatever, then beat on her until she unleashes health while the Ultimate recharges, you can do it. It depends on your levels. It took me a lot of tries. And remember, you have to get to Hussar fast - you probably need 10 minutes to beat her. Don't waste time on the clowns.

Also, if you have any piece of equipment that regenerates health, definitely equip it!

Also, there is the Live download pack for the heroes/villains pack, but there are just ordinary cheat codes to unlock Silver Surfer and Daredevil that don't block your other achievements but don't give you their achievements. So if it's achievements you're after, you'll have to do it the "honest" way. But if you just want the characters, I'd do the cheats.

Use your 3 power(her hurricane shield) to deflect some of the damage.

I defeated Hussar by staying the air, hitting her with lighting and while she's in shock, landing and using a melee combo to build up my Ulitimate move.

It's crazy - one of my favorite things about Storm is that she can fly, yet I always forget she can.

(And have you noticed that Hawkeye is actually... good? :wtf:)

I try to fly with her, but the red chick knocks me down with the whip. The air shield seemed to disappear quickly.

I'm going for a different tactic. Thor has the God's Speed ability which I wasn't using because I chose his team booster power. So I used it for the hell of it because his skills were all maxed out and most of the other characters that I use. He is already tough, but he turns into a super killing machine with the speed boost. He gets an extreme attack every few seconds. The secondary characters seem to be getting a decent amount of experience even though Thor is doing most of the killing. I love that Ulik level. With Thor going berserk the other characters are getting a level everytime I play the board. So I figure I'll just keep playing that Ulik board until Storm can kill the whip lady with a few punches.

Storm is now maxed out at level 99. She has the dark uru hammer. I still can't beat the red chick with the whip. I found this little area by one of the booths and Hussar wouldn't go in there. I hit her repeatedly with all sorts of different attacks. They seemed to do hardly any damage. After a few hits then I would have to do the dunking booth thing with the two buttons. I failed it too many times and Wolverine died. I hate that board and don't experience any pleasure playing it. I really don't like clowns.

I read a walkthrough and the guy acknowledged that it was hard for him at first, but said that the Hussar lady was easy to fight. That is not my experience. Storm is slow. Hussar is fast. Trying to just punch on her doesn't do alot. The whip pops up or knocks me down. If I fly she knocks me down. One time she even threw and expoding stuffed animal at me. Somebody give me a good reliable cheat to just get the Silver Surfer.

Hussar is difficult, but it can be done. That said, I think there's a lot of luck behind doing it.

Here's how you can unlock the Surfer. Scroll down for his code. You have to enter it on the team select screen with no one on your team, and press start after. You should hear a little beep after you do it. You may have to do it a few times to get it right, I know I did.

Be careful to ONLY use his code or you won't get more achievement points. (The only other "safe" code is the Daredevil one.)

Do you mean any screen right before you go into a mission? Don't you always have at least one character? Or do you mean to bring up your team screen?

No, I mean the team selection screen, at an extraction point. Take everyone off your team, then select an empty slot and then enter the code (quick as you can) and press start.

I got him! I'm enjoying the power cosmic and I don't have to see that damn clown level anymore! I like the molecular attack, time stop, and his energy lightning(pretty much exactly like Thor's).

Yeah, the Surfer, IMO, is one of the most powerful players you can have. Have you noticed he can heal your party?

    Congrats!
