People complained about Klingons overuse on DS9 and ENT now they are clamoring for them. When they introduced a time travel element that could potentially alter Trek history they were pissed. Now just because Abrams might do it they are loving it![]()
Yes. And conversely, the usage of something we already know doesn't make it a better movie either. Of course something new would have to be executed well, too. Personally, if I had the choice between something we know and something new, I'd pick something new.
