I'd love to participate in the birthday avatar, but regrettably I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and probably won't log on all day. But I'll be wearing the avatar in my heart.

It opens May 29 in a new theater in my neighborhood. My wife stopped by that theater and brought home their two ST09 advertising leaflets. People joke that taking a beautiful woman on a date to see a Star Trek movie is courting disaster, but I did take her to one of the previous ones before we were married.
I wish Paramount a thousand years of good fortune, and I've seen all the previous Trek movies in theaters, but I really don't want to sit through two hours of what I saw in those trailers. I'll be skipping this one and feeling rotten about it.
I couldn't wait! I had to join the early adopters. Blue Warp Nacelles rules! Happy Anniversary!!
