Easter Eggs? (Spoilers)

And, of course, the Falcon showed up in First Contact as well. :)
Well I missed that one, too! Where?
You can see it here ...

Excellent. Ive never been able to catch this.

I picked up on most stuff to classic Trek. Not all though. Im not programmed with a homage-o-meter.

It'd be interesting to find them all, see exactly how many and what they are throughout the movie.

I saw Saurian brandy bottles in the bar scene, i think i also saw the Nutritional Cubes from TOS there aswel.

Then you have things like tribbles, TOS communicators on the Kelvin etc etc.

Im watching it again tomorrow, and this time around im detail hunting, and Delta Vega hunting as it happens.

Thanks, Tachyon :techman:

I noticed the nameplate "Lenard" in the scene where Kirk faces the tribunal for cheating.

Also, one of the other admirals - the one sitting to the left of Tyler Perry - is Admiral Komack from the original series. Not the same actor of course, but the same character.

(Fun fact: This is Tyler Perry's first role in a film that he didn't create himself)

And IMDB says that Majel provided the offscreen voice of Nurse Chapel:
Nurse Chapel is not seen, but "heard", in the form of the late Majel Barrett Roddenberry's voice-who played the original Christine Chapel.

NCC-1701: Are you sure that is actually the Millennium Falcon in that bit from ST:FC? It looks more to me like a Defiant-class ship. You can even see the warp nacelles characteristic of that class.

I was wondering about Majel. It sounded like her when nurse Chapel answered off-screen, but I couldn't be sure.

Nah, it's definately not defiant class. The aft section has a round shape to it, like the millenium falcon. The defiant aft section is more boxy looking.

i cant wait for the dvd so i can look for some of the stuff.
some of the screen writing stuff i cant see that well.

I've found a nod to Nemesis: image.

Nice...if true.:p

In FC, when Cochrane reaches up to hit the controls that jettison the second or third stage of the Phoenix launch booster, there's a button that says "TOS" and one that says "38." By one count years ago, "Metamorphosis"(the classic Cochrane episode)was the 38th episode aired.;)

Pike told Sulu to punch it, twice, which is the same thing Han Solo would say to Chewbacca when Chewie engaged the hyperdrive, and then when Sulu actually did put the ship in warp, the display on the viewscreen looked like Star Wars hyperdrive.

I just saw the movies again, and on the wall behind everyone in sick bay is a wall panel that looks like the HAL 9000 interface, except painted white.

Was the scene where Kirk hits his head on the beam in the shuttle supposed to remind us of the scene in ST V where Scotty hits his head?
