OT: I've sold an original story!

Congratulations! I recently discovered that my local library currently receives the magazine and has back issues to borrow. What issues have your previous stories appeared in, Christopher?

November 1998 and December 2000. It's been a while. I hope your library's collection goes back that far.
Hmm. I'd have to check, but no I don't think it does. Shucks.

Well, my Analog stories are available for reading on my website. Just follow the link in my signature and click "Original Fiction" on the main page.

I'm just so thrilled to have sold something original again.

Hey, that's terrific! Do let us know when to look for it.

I used to love to write, but my work and our two young kids beat my muse to death and dumped her down an elevator shaft.

Joe, blocked

Congrats, man -- been a fairly-steady Analog reader since high school, and it's a high-toned, pedigreed publication to have your original stuff appear in. Will definitely check it out.

Awesome news! It's been a while since I picked up a copy of Analog, but I'll be on the lookout when your story is published.

Hi, all! The contract's been signed, so I can announce that I've finally sold another work of original fiction -- not Star Trek, not Marvel, something purely my own. My novelette "The Hub of the Matter" will be appearing in an upcoming issue of Analog Science Fiction and Fact. It's not yet scheduled, but I'll let you know when it is. Going by my previous two Analog sales, it probably won't be until early next year.

Congrats, Christopher! Always nice to see fellow Trek writers working outside the shop from time to time.

Any plans on an original novel or two?

Congratulations on the new Analog story. I'll have to pick up the eBook copy once we know which edition it's going to be in.

Analog, not bad. Friend of mine's been nominated for Hugos and Nebs and hasn't been able to crack Analog yet. Good going.

Now, you've sent more stories out there, I'm assuming?

Where would you find the magazine?

Not as many places as you once could, alas, but a respectably-sized bookstore or a newsstand should carry them. And my original post contains a link to their site, where you can order issues or subscriptions.

I would think a Barnes and Noble would have it. I have'nt read Analog is a good long time how's the quality of the magazine compare now as to say the 80's...
