"That's Me!" Avatar Week? (Silly idea inside.)

I was wondering what was going on with all these Real People® instead of the usual avatars I've associated with you guys forever, then I finally stumbled across this thread...looks like I'm late to the party, but I'll join in til the rest of you switch back.

 

I decided to join in yesterday because I felt weird looking at all these people who could not see me. Now you can know who is annoying you!

 

Well, before you came back, i was the annoying one. Glad to have some help; it's a full time deal annoying all these guys.

 

Tell me about it, they're all so... tollerant.

 

We have our work cut out for us.

 

I don't think I will switch back now.

 

Indeed there is someone on here whose screen name is spelt Deckerd.

You know, it's early in the morning, and I haven't had my coffee, so it took me a little while to figure out what you meant by this.

Then I realized that my avatar might have revealed my true stature. To make matters worse, my CD towers are taller than I am.

And you'd have to put up with me struggling and crying, "No! No! Leave me! Save the CDs!" So you'd need every ounce of that hidden strength.

But, you certainly are lithe. Looking good!

I might keep mine the same for a while.

 

This is fun, but I'm thinking about whether to change back or not. Like most, I prefer a little anonymity.

I'm going to leave myself up for another couple of days. Then we'll see. It has been a blast, though.

Or indeed has changed their attitude towards anyone else?

It's great that most people were shy about revealing themselves but now feel liberated! I'm leaning towards re-masking but would love the occasional 'That's me at Christmas... in the summer... at graduation...

Mine is still reasonably anonymous, although I wouldn't hesitate to say who that guy in my avatar was if someone asked me personally. I might therefore keep mine as a conversation piece.

I'll most likely be changing mine back to Very Special Agent Fox Mulder. I don't think the avatar pic does me justice but it has sure been fun.

 

So we'll have younger, hotter mods?
