I want them to acknowledge the importance of the choices they made in the first film. That is,
the destruction of Vulcan. What happens then? What will the Vulcans do? How will this affect Spock in the long run? I'd want to see these addressed at least somehow.
And I don't want to see yet another evil villain Khan/Soren/Borg Queen/Nero. Something else this time, please!
(My favourite Trek film is still TUC, by the way... I liked the political stuff, the Klingons, all that.)
I'll just be interested to hear what Abrams and his writers make of the feedback they get from the audience about what we like and don't like about this one. He's said that they want that information as they go into scripting another one.
I guess I'd like Urban to have bigger role in the next film.

I believe em.
These guys are pure CLASS. Orci especially. I've never seen a Trek writer get as involved with the fans as he does.
Yeah...I believe he genuinely cares about what the fans want to see.
It's a far cry from all those years of Braga when he basically thumbed his nose at the fans with an almost patrician type attitude...
Indeed. That could have potential.Yeah I think a natural result of that could be thatSpock wants to be more Vulcan than ever because the galaxy needs Vulcans. This could precipitate his breakup with Uhura.

In the parking lot in Austin, Orci asked my fiancee whether women would like it. She said yes, especially therelationship. She didn't know he was one of the film's writers. They did seem gracious and considerate.Uhura/Spock
