^ Nope. That would be next week. For some reason we have 23 episodes this season instead of the usual 22 or 24.

Meh. . . the last half of the season has kind of lost me. Not nearly as charmed by it as I was up til this winter.

I'm kinda meh on the relationship storyline...the real hilarity was the Gang O'Four trying to fix the space toilet.

Best line, of course, Sheldon's "Y'know, I thought the humor would diminish with repetition, but clearly there are no diminishing comedic returns with space poop!"
:guffaw:

A great episode, as usual. I like the Penny and Leonard thing, though I don't think they can just get them together right away because that would take away half the show's point. They could possibly take the Ross-Rachel route, where it is sort of an off and on thing.

I liked it but must digress to Sheldon that the Flash #1 did not knock my socks off. I found it rather routine and lacking.

The space toilet jokes were good.

I gave it an Above Average.

Well, I've kind of missed the Penny/Leonard thing, so I'm glad to see it make a comeback of sorts.

The space toilet thing was great.

Glad we're getting one more episode! :techman:

Actually, I found last nights episode to be rather boring. Last week's episode (VEGAS TRIP/SHELDON WITH PENNY) was great.

In fact, the obvious sexual tension on this show is between Sheldon and Penny. And if they ever pair those two up (hard to imagine) but if they did? The show will decay like MOONLIGHTING did the moment they paired those two...

I gave it an "Average," but that was based on my expectations for TBBT, which are higher than for most other shows - it still beats the competition! :)

I'm glad they're steering back toward Penny/Leonard - I guess I'm hoping Leonard will finally get it right, and I can live vicariously through him ;). In the back half of the season, I've actually been getting less thrilled with Sheldon- he used to be a unique kind of fish out of water, but they seem to be moving him so much further away from the human experience that he seems, to me, to be becoming more and more implausible; I can buy a lack of social skills and a perspective that has no emotional component, but I can't buy that he has no idea even what many of these concepts are. Sheldon isn't Rainman - yet - just self-absorbed; lately, he's been almost an alien.

Unless ... he is an alien!!

He makes this show. If sheldon were to leave, the show would flop.

Just calling it how I see it...better sign him up to a new contract!!!

Yeah, the "relationship" bits are getting a little tedious. Will they, won't they... I don't care. Give me Sheldon and Raj. Those two crack me up. And even though Sheldon gets some great lines, Raj is quickly becoming a fast favorite with his dry sarcastic comments.

And the space potty was a stroke of genius. Throw in a few "Apollo 13" references and the hyper jettisoning meatloaf, you have a winner. :bolian: (When that loaf fired out of that contraption, I almost had a stoke laughing. Then when it came back down again... I think I pulled a muscle... for real. My ribs are killing me today.)

To be honest, I think Howard may have the best comedic timing of the bunch....at least in those rare moments when his jokes don't involve over the top sexual innuendo (and even sometimes when they do).

One of my favorite lines was in the Christmas episode when Sheldon recounts the history of Christmas and gift giving, and Howard offers the snarky reply "And that, Charlie Brown, is what boredom is all about." I don't know, just something about the way he delivered that line....not sure if the other guys would have been able to pull it off the same way.

I just started catching up with this show again on the Internet. Question for regular viewers, has Raj ever said anything directly to Penny? I thought I saw a late second season show where he did, but maybe that was when he was on his meds.

^ He can speak to women when he's had some alcohol, so yeah, he has spoken to Penny on a few occasions.

In one episode, I think Raj squeaked out "sorry" to Penny the day after he took her out for a disastrous evening. I think that's the only time he's said anything to her sober.
