Happy International Star Wars Day!

I really like SW Day because each year I forget it and then when someone points it out to me, it always puts a smile on my face.

I will stand on a sandy mound this evening and watch the twin suns set, in honour of a great trilogy and the happy childhood it gave me.

:)

Yay!

Ditto.
Even if a day late, I'll crack open a beer for Star Wars Day tonight, when back home!

Dang, I completely forgot about it! :klingon:

May 25 would be the likeliest candidate for "Star Wars Day", being the day of A New Hope's debut, only trouble is that that's Towel Day also. Which one to observe? Or to watch SW while holding a towel? :rommie:

I've been looking for these! Are they still available? I know they had 'limited edition' strapped all over them but they've been out for ages!

Edit: The DVDs, not the little girl...

Good thing you edited that. i was trying to picture the kind of freak that would put "Limited edition" straps all over a little girl.

On another note-I just became aware that yesterday was SW Day so tonight when i'm celebrating Cinco De Mayo I'll add in a retroactive toast, just like Lucas's digital effects in A New Hope!

Since your from NZ I can't say if your country is still selling them but they are still being sold in the states. The Limited Editions (make sure the boxset has 6 dvds) should still be available. I was just at Best Buy earlier today and they are selling this set for $40.

You should also find them for cheap online too.

I hope George has had enough time between movies now to go forward with Episodes 7, 8, 9. :) He's 64, kids grown up. Clint Eastwood is over 80 and going strong. Please George... :) I know..., selfish request. :borg:

Found the DVDs, although not the box set. Just watched ANH... ah the memories...

Then I put in the 1977 version.... man we've come a long way. Think I preferred the restored version though.

Han doesn't need to shoot first.

*cue bar fight*
