But are you comparing apples to apples? You are aware that the higher the maH number the longer they'll last, right?

Energizer. When I was youg I did an experiemnt for class on baterries and Energizer lasted much longer than Duracell. There was a third brand that I used that lasted longer than Duracell but I can't recall what it was off hand.
Cool! My uncle got quite a bit of good stuff after doing that one.
I use what ever is the cheapest at Dollar General. Really, the amount of extra time lasting vs. the more money you spend on a name brand, isn't worth it to me.
I used to do that but they would always be dead by the time I got them home.

Shatmandu is right as always. Rechargeables are the way to go.
