I'm guessing that's probably in the Off-Topic forum? I'd better make a few more posts so I'll be able to see it.

hi all, I posted this in the Spoiler thread as well:

I just got back from the free screening in DC (at the AMC-Mazza Gallery).

suffice to say that I am completely overwhelmed and just... unbelievably happy! my day, no, my entire year has been MADE.

and I shall now say what I was hoping to say on the 8th of May:

STAR TREK LIVES, BABY, IT FUCKING LIVES!!! :)

I saw a preview screening this evening, and it was wonderful! The movie combines the best parts of Trek and action movies. I'll have to see it again to be sure, but right now I would give it 5 stars, an honor only the second and eighth films have gotten from me before now.

Another review from Aint It Cool. New, but regarding the Sydney premiere. It's sort of an interesting take on it. It's very positive.

^ Calling Voyager and Insurrection both underrated (meaning he thinks they're good) sort of killed the rest of the review for me.

Well, as long as they go several times to confirm their standpoint... I have no problem. Yes, canonistas, go 5 times! Make sure your opinion is fully researched! :D
